LCMG Stroud takes up global organics site at the shambles outdoor market

Local Community Market Gardens Stroud (LCMG), which operates a vegetable and fruit delivery box scheme from their site in Sheepscombe, will be taking the regular site at The Shambles outdoor market, previously occupied by Global Organics, from this Friday, 18th September.

LCMG has worked closely over the last few years with Global Organics and when founder Andie announced they were closing last month, it seemed a natural progression to Amanda Godber, founder of LCMG, to continue in the tradition of offering the highest quality fresh produce at The Shambles.

“Andie, Gilda, Alan, Erica and the team at Global have been fantastic business partners over the years” commented Amanda “and they’ve been very supportive to us.  They’re going to be a very hard act to follow, but we will do our very best to provide the high  levels of service and quality to customers, as Global has done.  We look forward to welcoming Stroud shoppers at our new home in the Shambles, 8am-3pm, every Friday – so please come and say hello!”.

In addition to selling directly at the market, LCMG can take orders for home deliveries and regular weekly boxes.  “You can sign up for our regular boxes on our website, but this doesn’t suit everyone”, says Amanda, “so come and see us in person and we’ll talk you through what you’d like and arrange your deliveries. We can also offer a small wholesale service for local businesses needing a good supply of organic produce.”

Look at for LCMG at the Shambles, by the entrance of the St. Laurence Stroud Parish Church.
